March 7 Last day with the Haynes

The day started off with a coyote hunt with Mr. Jordan. Six of our kids got to go with him. They had a blast! Didn’t shoot anything, but really enjoyed their time together. He was so nice to take them along and go exploring together!

In the mean time Stephen took the 3 little boys to town to get some things done. The man at the auto parts store gave the little boys each a new hat! They got some tools to fix the hinges on the cargo trailer door, 2 peach trees for the Haynes’ (both Mr & Mrs and Andrew & Nells) as a thank you for letting us come and for the wonderful hospitality, then made it back home to finish up those projects.

I also went out to town, but failed to take a picture. Nellie went with me and Millie and the 3 little girls and we grabbed some things from the thrift store in preparation for this very cold weather we will have the end of this week, and some more groceries.

We had a nice afternoon of packing, organizing, doing laundry, playing, watching a movie in Andrews and Nells camper during the rain shower, napping, and topped it all off with supper at Jordan and Mary’s next door. They were so sweet to have us over! I told Mary that different people’s homes have different feels, and hers felt very welcoming and homey. It got a little wild and crazy at times, but they were very gracious. And the food was delicious!! Found some new recipes that will definitely be added to our favorites list!

Huge thank you to Andrew and MellieMae for the wonderful time! So many relationships were deepened with them as we spent every day together. They were so warm and welcoming to have us stay with them, take us around to some beautiful places, share meals together, let us hook up to water for washing and laundry, taking SO much time with the kids and playing with them giving 4 wheeler rides…the list could go on and on. We will forever be grateful for the time spent together! Thank you both so very much for everything!
