Before we left home, Stephen did lots of research on many topics. He was planning things to help make our monument trip as enjoyable as possible. We have so many things we depend on in a home that we don’t think twice about. But once you are out on the road, you need to think outside the box and figure out how to either do without, or how to meet that need. Well, one of those “needs” (for me anyway) is a nice hot shower! We invested in the Joolka Hot Tap and it has been amazing! We have set it up and taken it down multiple times already and it is a great system. You just need a water source (creek works!), power source (we have used a car battery and a little portable power station and both work great), propane for the hot water, and everything else is nicely contained in the blue “sink” and the shower stall in the bag with handles. You just set it up and you are ready to go! Here are some pictures waking through the process.
